Breed Workshop - Gundogs
Do you own a gundog breed like a Spaniel, Retriever, Pointer, Setter or similar? Are you keen to learn how to work with your dog and bring out all their potential? Do you struggle to get their focus or keep them calm or prevent them chasing other birds or animals or moving objects?
We've owned, worked with and trained with many gun dogs and would love to share our knowledge and training approach with you. Special guest trainer is Sue Williams from Noseworx who will be demonstrating with her gun dogs too.
In this afternoon workshop we'll be training with a select few gundogs who range in age and behaviours so you can watch and observe how we can promote calmness, communication and learning through a thorough understanding of their individual needs and desires. Yes they all may have some common traits but they are also individuals so we'll show you how we can bring out the best in your dog and help you problem solve if your are facing any issues.
You may register your dog for the workshop, but we will be selecting only a few dogs to attend for us to work with during the afternoon based on their history and age. This workshop is designed as an observational course to maximise your ability to learn and understand and ask questions. If you would like us to work with you and your dog afterwards we can arrange private sessions or further workshops.
When: Monday 26th October (Labour Day)
12:30pm-4:30pm
Where: 1039C Work Road
Cost: $100 per person
$50 additional fee if your dog is selected to be trained
FULLY BOOKED
