Top Teens

Sociable dogs between 6-16 months of age

Adolescence can be a challenging time with many hormonal and developmental changes that will influence your dog’s behaviour. In this program we focus on common problems with 'teenage' dogs, how to work through their levels of frustration, how to ensure you are building a communicative relationship based on mutual benefit, and how to bring out the best in your teenager.
In this program we really focus on application of obedience, building the level of distraction and aiming for a level of control that ensures you pass your final test. Those of you that have already done our past Prime Pup programs will have an advantage, but if you are new to our programs, then don't worry, we will assist you through the stages to ensure you fully understand the concepts or you may wish to attend our Companion Dog Training Course first to help get you up to speed.
